Forlorn Hope on Ebay

Hi,
I am based in Spain, and pre Brexit made many orders to different UK based manufacurers and retailers, including direct from Forlorn hope with very few problems over the years.

However, since Brexit came into force, customs and handling charges have become such that I have all but stopped ordering from the UK. Which is why I decided to order a few bits from Forlorn hope through Ebay, as their charges are generally a little more transparent.

This being so, I'm having no end of trouble getting my order through, Ebay actually ended up refunding me, although communication with Forlorn hope was pretty good, and they're supposed to have resent the order, it's just not getting through.

I guess in the end I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and order from Mirlington in Italy, problem being that you have to order full packs from them.

Anyone else in Europe having a nightmare with orders from the UK, or Forlorn Hope specifically?

Thanks. I gave it a go earlier but to no avail. I think I need the sender's ID. Forlorn Hope is not getting me anywhere with the Advanced Search.

I remember seeing their Ebay listings not too back but I don't know their exact Ebay seller name. They have a website though.

Right, I know the ranges really well, I knew they had dropped out of the market some time ago but had not realised that they were available again.

Probably not all that helpful for any non-Brits but I’ve ordered from their eBay store several times over the last couple of months and they’ve always dispatched and delivered very promptly. I would certainly recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to order again, but I’m UK based.

Gotta love Brexit…

It’s been a nightmare sending stuff to some places in Europe, Spain seems to be especially bad. Import processes and duty are all over the place with no real consistency.
