Is There a Listing of the New, Larger Figs?
« on: 21 August 2021, 09:54:38 AM »
I have a number of Heroclix, and WOTC/etc. Superhero, Star Wars, Star Trek and other figs.

Most seem to be in about the 29mm - 43mm/34mm/36mm to the eyes from the soles of their feet, depending upon whether they are female or male, and the range, figure pose, etc..

I have received a few singles though, that are 40mms to the eyes, which I suspect may be some of the newer figs I've briefly read about in passing, e.g. Diana Prince walking, AKA Wonder Woman.  Of course, perhaps that isn't too surprising, since she is technically an Amazon, I suppose.

Is there a list of which ranges are now being produced in the new, larger scale, or some other way to tell which are larger figs when purchasing singles?

All the new series of Heroclix are the larger size. You can go to https://www.coolstuffinc.com/page/1102 or trollandtoad.com and look at the sets to see which characters are in the series. To date the larger scale series are:
Fantastic Four Future Foundation (newest FF set, they released one late last year that was old scale)
Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary
X-Men Rise and Fall (releasing in the next couple of weeks)

There are some in the larger scale that would be great for standard 28mm, Hulk, The Thing, Thanos, Darkseid, Sentinels, etc, but I hate that they went larger scale. I guess I need to look at a 3D Resin printer soon.
