I have a herd of bison also. Mine is a lot smaller. I only have between 20 & 30. Always looking to increase the size. What figures did you use for your herd?

Herby,

I used pretty much all of them made in 15 mm - and some plastic ones from an old Wild Bill set, forget the manufacturer's name, that provided some calves.  There are Stone Mountain, Minifig, Peter Pig, and Irregular as well - oh, and some rubber Chinese ones I found in a bin at a local hobby shop.  For me it's as much about the "model" as it is about the game so I want a cool looking setup.

Thanks for checking it out.

Quite the collection ;)
I wonder what role the bisons play during play and if they are moved individually? Even if it's a herd of only 30 it would be quite the task each turn ;)

Well, the bison are all based three to a base - but that's still a lot of bases to move around.  I'm willing because I love the look of having them on the table.  That, and at some point, there will be buffalo hunting games.  Besides, those beasts roamed the plains in the millions and I feel the need for an impressive herd. So, at a hundred to one ratio that would be...oh, wait, there's that kookie side coming out again.

OK I think I have some of those plastic ones. They were made by Atlantic. I think someone else still has the molds now. They are too small for my needs though. My herd is in the 25-28mm scale.

Added the wagon groupings to the list for those who want to check it out.  Lots more than just wagons, of course.

Dr. Viking, I'm afraid I don't know why you are not seeing the images - though there are only a few right now.

Just added the listing of civilian figures.  Next time around will be the stars of the show.
