And another Adobe hacienda!
« on: September 24, 2009, 03:03:26 PM »
Yep, getting predictable now, Here is another one for the town. i just can't stop building them, I'm addicted, somebody stop me ;)

The usual mix of foamcore, Polyfilla, balsa wood, mdf base and a new experiment for the verandah roof- bristles from a brush!

Really nice, mate!  :)

Are the flagstones on the verandah home made or is it textured plasticard?

Wills scenics - Yorkstone flooring I think for the verandah.
The flagstones at the front door are home made.

I'd love to have something like that. You could also use it in Darkest Africa or the NW Frontier etc.

A very useful and beautifully finished piece of terrain.

Spoilt slightly by the shoddy sanding, though...

Looks good!
Keep building...a sprawling western town is nice for running gun battles...especially if you are using horses!

Very nice, indeed! Those bristles look rather thick, so I am wondering what kind of brush they came from?

Thanks,

Fantastic  :o
Love the twiggy roof.
Keep 'em coming - don't ever stop. Once you have too many, just start passing them over to me to look after  :D
I hope we'll see the entire town sometime soon  ;)

WOW Gorgeous work Nick. :-*
The paint job is great. :-* :-* :-*
The veranda roof looks great.
You may have answered this in previous threads but where do you get the doors from, especially the front door. Are they home made?
Are we getting to see this in the flesh in a few weeks?

Another very fine house set for your town project, very authentic looking. How do you store all those pretty buildings?
