Lovely job, just the assembly of 120 figures in the 2 days is impressive.

More Elite loveliness!! Your Landwehr are lovely, super looking regiment. :)

I do like elite miniature, they have a feel of movement about them.

Lovely job, just the assembly of 120 figures in the 2 days is impressive.

They are simple add head and pack, trim and cleanup takes as long though!

Cheers

A return to sanity as I have moved my workspace again while construction is happening on the third floor again. Finally settled back into painting this week in earnest.

A post for Waterloo day, my latest Prussian battery, I will try to get some better photos tomorrow when I complete my wider new light box as I trashed my old one last week..

Cheers
Matt

Another battery complete, this one from the first Prusse regiment (white epaulettes, again 28mm miniatures from Elite miniatures.

Note the new photo box and background very happy with my result.

Back to cavalry and infantry now as I complete the next division

Cheers

Those look great.  Love the photo background.  Really shows how natural your basing results are.

I am really happy with my new basing matériels and matching local French terrain.

I should do a post on the new photo box,

IKEA box
Model railway backscene
€5 led serial lights
Card elevated base and flock
White artboard

= chuffed with result, although possibly should of went the next box size up!

The third battalion of my Silesian Landwehr regiment  for my 1813 army. From the 28mm Elite miniatures range. Flags to come on the 13th when the flag ceremony occurs (my wife’s birthday parade, being of good Prussian aristocratic stock, flags are awarded along with a parade)

First up my regimental commander

Vorwarts, mein kinder! Love the photo box.

And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Fantastic! Love the new mounted officer, he looks so very pale (pre-battle nerves perhaps) And massed bayonets will never not look cool :D

From what I have read a majority of the Landwehr officers were young university men who supplied their own horses normally.
