While working on my Vietnam project (and greatly enjoying that) I came to the realisation that my jungle terrain needed an upgrade. I made it about 10 years ago, at great speed as usual at that time to make a deadline for a project, and I simply didn't think it looked good enough.

More about the process here:

How can you be grumpy

Hot glue was the only thing that worked for me.

The tree-bark rocks, being wood, are glued to the base with PVA glue. The trees are pinned but the rest is hot-glued to the base.

For my jungle terrain I drilled small holes in the MDF bases, stuck the platsic plants in the holes and used all-purpose glue to keep them there.

I used hot glue in the past but for some reason after a while it breaks off where it is attached to the base.

I made my forest terrain this weekend, and all-purpose glue seems to work fine. Only the longer drying time can be a bit challenging, but with a little patience, its ok. Thanks for the hint!
