He's a Reaper chap. Some thief type, I believe.
Found him and thank you.  Yours has a beard, very nice.

Ah, yes, minor addition. Forgot about that.

I have recently taking an interest in the Oathmark rules and I've been, mostly for shits and giggles, painted some troops for it. On a shelf east of the sun west of the moon I have had a few Copplestone crafted elves looking a bit worse for wear. I have given them a make over, patching them here and touching up some paint also to make them look like this:

As I wanted these to be line breakers (special troops types in the army lists) I brought forth my MiniForge(tm) and wrought new two handed axes for those armed with swords.

For some forgotten reason I had snipped the head off one of the minis in this group so I replaced it with a Frostgrave head and a new mane of hair. These early 90s miniatures have a distinct prog or hard rock look to them so I gave this elf a Robert Plant hairdo, thinking it very much in style.

I also thought I'd show you a bit of my process: I have started to do a "mood board" of sorts for my projects to get a feel for the colors and patterns I want to use. As you can see I am not very meticulous, the sketches are quite rough.  I can't, obviously, transfer the emblem designs perfectly in scale to the tabard, shield and banner but it helps having some idea what I want them to look like. The marker/banner is from a GW Warhammer Elf set, by the way.

Those look great, especially the big hair guy! That big hair period in the ‘80s and early ‘90s was something else.

Somehow I missed this thread entirely until today.  It's always good to see Hammers in action. I love your autumnal basing, something a bit different to what most of us normally do. I must admit mine is usually just done by my usual routine, and I rarely apply much thought to that area.

Robert Plant, eh? He used to live near me, I'm told, though I never saw him. After him our local celebrity was Boycie from Only Fools and Horses, and since he died we've got Alistair McGowan. Not quite in the same league, but times are hard, and I think the local council has to rent local celebrities using taxpayers money.

Maybe Hammers' little corner of the site should be renamed Led Adventure?

P.S. I'm reading Matthew Lewis' early Gothic novel The Monk, so am currently really into scary nuns. Good one!  :)

Thanks, Dylan! If Robert Plant swings by his old home, tell him I said hi! and show him the miniature.
