Any woman that carries a broom-handled Mauser is okay in my book.

Sweet miniature & plane.

Those look fantastic. Great work with the darker colors.

You all agree that that particular model must be based on Bess Armstrong as that flapper in "High Road to China"?

What scale is the plane?

Artizan is quickly becoming one of my favorites in 28mm. Well done!

I'd love to see some more pics of that seaplane.

THANKS!

While I too would like to see more of the plane, I'm more interested in finding out why she's called "naughty" Lola.   :)

Looks like Fine Molds' 1/48 Curtiss R3C-0.  They also did the Savoia S.21 Seaplane in the same scale, both 'militarized' versions seen in the 'Porco Rosso' animated film.

Yes, I think those models are available in both 1:48 and 1:72 scale.

Thanks,

The seaplane is 1/48 scale, painted to wargames standard. The markings painted freehand by me.

   Here's a better view

I'm building the Savoia for Starkadder to presentation standard, here's the instrument panel, shame it will be lost in the cockpit, great kit's,thank's for the comments chaps. :D

I believe the kit is still available,it is a great build ,good detail and fit's perfectly. The Savoia is good as well, with all sorts of detail .....engine,cockpit and gun bay.Enough for a good build, all without the etch etcetera that often becomes a pain.I have a Classic Airframes Curtiss as well (Lola's second 'plane) and I know as a limited run kit it will be a battle, fun ? Sure still a battle, tho' it is lovely  ;D
