Great looking games.

Have you chosen a to play up a long thin table for any particular reason (other than the obvious one, of that is the table you have that fits in the room!)

Just by chance, it's the tiles we use and the table we use. We often use that layout for our skirmish games (20-30 minis per side) - works very well. But we've also used a larger table for larger games (50+ minis per side):

Alright - it's time for an update! First off: a couple of army shots of my "main" American and British forces. I haven't included my Black Brigade minis, my French or my Native American Warriors or Butler's Rangers for that matter - the Hessians will get their own army show when they're finished as well.

All minis are Perry with a lot of conversions here and there (see individual photos in this thread) - the flags are GMB.

I also forgot to add some better shots of my British Legion minis - so here they are. Perry ones straight out of the box - but with new plastic blades for their swords (from the ACW cavalry kit):

And I've finished a small group of Spanish soldiers as well, for Florida scenarios. Super fun to paint and I really like the colour scheme. Perry Miniatures, as usual.

I'm going to add an officer as well and play some scenarios where they will work together with Patriot militia and Native warriors against Loyalist and British forces (I've written a swamp-based scenario that should be fun to play - I've attached it to this post, the scenario is meant to be used with Ravenfeast rules but it can easily be applied to other smaller size skirmish games as well IMO).

Thanks!  :D

I've finished 5 more Hessian Jäger, straight out of the box from Perry Miniatures (except one of the reloading ones, he's a convereted Musketeer). The prone one got a new arm, as well. I've also finished 10 Grenadiers + a Pioneer I just need to base them then I will post some photos later tonight.

Anyway, here are the recently finsihed Jägers:

As promised, here are the finished Grenadiers - Perry Mini's, as usual. The Sergeant is converted - he got a pointing arm from the plastic British AWI kit. I painted them as Leib-Regiment, as I will do with my Musketeers as well. Since the mini's don't have molded puttees I decided to skip the yellow trousers and instead give them a mix of field-made overalls in striped and off-white cloth. Pretty happy with how these came out - they were super fun to paint and the sculpts are very characterful and detailed, can't wait to get started on the Musketeers, the Colonel and the command unit!
