Blood, Sweat and Cheers - Multiplayer Fights?

Ave fellow Gamers!

Some of the lads in my group are keen on getting some Gladiators into the arena, Hollywood style.  Though I have a few appropriate rule sets in my librarium of scrolls, I am most familiar with “Blood Sweat & Cheers“, and I like it's simplicity, however it's designed for 1v1 bouts.

Wonder if anyone's expanded it to team fights? I've got 3 card decks so I could probably run it in one arena as simultaneous 1v1s, but would be keen to see if it could expand into a bigger bout.

Time constraints mean I'd prefer to focus on this system rather than familiarise myself with or acquire something new.

Any thoughts appreciated.
