Thanks for the comments.  It was a fun project that only took a few hours a week over the past month or so.

I really must add something to hold a flag on the highest tower!

Love the fort.  A flag would look good on it.  But may I suggest having it removable, and having a flag for each of your opposing forces, should one take it from the other... :D

Great job, I love it! Very versatile, I can see this in many locals.

Reminds me of my building of Fort Khalaam back in 2009:

Excellent!  As soon as I saw your picture I thought "yogurt containers", and then I thought of the Major General TR site (sadly missed).

I remember reading the Col’s report on the Fort Khalaam battle and loving that home made fort. Yes, very reminiscent of the Major General.

Just a heads up, the Major General site is still accessible via the way back machine.  Give this link a try: http://web.archive.org/web/20081220230900/http://www.zeitcom.com/majgen/index.html

Sadly, nothing new for far too many years but people move on to other endeavors.

Thanks for posting that LINK, FifteensAway!  About 23 or 24 years ago I happened across the Maj. Gnl.'s site and it was a major factor in my return to the hobby in general and Colonials (using The Sword And The Flame) in particular -- so it's great to have easy access to it at my fingertips once again!

Also many thanks to DalyDR for sharing your work on that awesome scratch-built fort!

Happy you found it of use Mad Guru.  Though I'd say your efforts have gone far beyond what the Major General and his group accomplished in spectacular spectacle.  No denying, however, just how influential the site was for many of us.  The piece that made it 'legendary' for me is definitely the Sher-Li Temple game, always makes me smile (doesn't hurt my wife is an unabashed Shirly Temple fan and likes from time to time to watch Wee Willie Winkie).
