This teaser makes me SO fricking happy!!! 

Back in May 2021 I searched high and low for decent camel cav models and they simply didn't exist at the time.  A number of manufacturers sold camel cav, but their minis were all garbage. I had to make my own from the best of what was available at the time.  This required a rotary tool, greenstuff, and a lot of time, and still I didn't produce a camel and rider nearly as nice as what's pictured above.  Thank you!

More recently Cabellero Miniatures started selling nice camel cav as 3D prints, but they are a bit over the top.  Plus, I'm always dubious about quality of 3D prints at the 28mm scale level.

PLEASE tell me that you are going to make the camels in hard plastic and not soft resin.

It’s legs could be a bit longer.

Backed!  I can't wait to see more new releases.

Are the camels hard plastic or resin?  Please say its the former. I haven't had good experience with Shieldwolf's resin minis.

In addition to scaling issues (see below), many of the soft resin goblin heroes I received had issues with air bubbles and malformed detail.  Larger parts (like the bodies) were better than the smaller parts (e.g., arms and weapons).
 


The Shieldmaiden Ballista was better, but still not great.  The ballista spear was so poorly cast that I threw it out and replaced it with a plastic spear.  I had to use greenstuff to rebuild missing rivet heads, fill holes, and resculpt areas of malformed detail.

First hours are always a bit frantic, we try our best to monitor and answer as fast as possible.
We have plans for HIPS camelry but that's only if the project explodes so take that with a pinch of salt, we are no kickstarter company with tenths of thousands of euros for marketing purposes.
The resin issues have long been fixed and you will be shown production samples of the camels during the project.

Also, if ever anything is not up to standards, don't hesitate to contact us and we'll send replacements ASAP, we hold dearly to our reputation, it is what has brought us here to where we are today!

First, I have some of your forest goblins, and I love them. 

Looking over this kickstarter... am I correct in saying this is specifically for the new 'Desert' faction?  I know you are offering discounts on the other sets, but just confirming there are not new sets planned in this kickstarter for say, new goblins.

In other words, will there be new goblins?



Maybe some goblins riding camels?

Thank you for your positive comment and the consideration.
We have plastic kits planned for ALL our factions, and since you specifically asked for the Goblins we have the Drotts planned out (common Goblins) and after that wolf cavalry. But we are no CMoN, we can't ask for the 250,000 euros we would need to fund absolutely everything. HIPS cost a lot and take years to make the investment back, that's why you don't see many companies doing them; we are in this for the long run and we are very willing to wait and grow however!

How tall are these figures to top of head? Valkyrie should be more "heroic" than mere mortals.
Also they are not shown as included in the skirmish or scouting party pledge levels, will they be?

Funding slowly but steadily, slower than we would have liked, but at this pace we should fund. 
We are strongly hoping to have funded before the 48 hour emails so we may make it on time to unlock as many stretch goals as possible!
