I've been collaborating with some Ukrainian sculptors to design 3D-printable Ukrainian soldiers to help raise funds for Ukraine.

The first sculpt designed by a Kharkiv-based artist, of a Ukrainian soldier firing an NLAW, has been finished and is available here for "donate what you want":

A nice sculpt and a noble endeavour  8)

I don’t believe that anyone could accuse you of being political with this post, given that this is a charity sculpt set against the backdrop of the greatest humanitarian crisis that Europe has faced since the Second World War.

If anyone doubts the legitimacy of the link (given its from a low post count account) I’ve checked that you can also access the donation website directly from the bank website*

*although of course, if you want the STL file you’d best use the link in the original post  ;)

Got one for my brother for his birthday. Of course, he'll have to pay someone to print it, which might annoy him since it's a birthday present.
'Sir John ejaculated explosively, sitting up in his chair.' ... 'The Black Gang'.

Maybe you could buy him a printer...  ;)

Thanks! And yes, highly recommend a 3D printer as an add-on birthday present :)

And if anyone's worried about the provenance of the charity, I set the model to "pay what you want" so you can always set it "$0," download the file, and then donate directly to a charity you prefer.

The Ukrainian sculptor has already been paid a fair market rate, and his story is also pretty crazy: he had to evacuate his home in Kharkiv because of the war and lived in Donetsk before that. His post on the fundraiser is here:

I don't like him that much!
