Update of Flodden Project

A quick update if anyone is interested.  I am still gathering figures for both armies.  I've started painting as they come in but wanted to give updates on new figures as they arrive.  I just received figures from Northumbrian Painting Service last night.  The foot come 10  to a bag and have a lot of variety in each bag.  In fact there may not be any repeats with variations of helmet, pose or actual head.  As for size, they are slightly larger than the Pete's Flags figures and a little thicker in some cases, but I think that they mix fine.  They also mix fine with the Steel Fist dismounted gendarmes that I also bought.  I am still waiting on the Redoubt figs to arrive then I will do a comparison of all 5 manufacturers side by side if anyone is considering a Flodden project and is curious.  The 5 manufacturers that I am using are Pete's Flags, Dixon, Steel Fist, Northumbrian Painting Service and Redoubt.  I'm attempting to get through this project quickly so I am suing contrast paints on everything.  The sculpting style seems to take the contrasts well on all of the figs.
