Mr Brown meets the mounties
« on: 18 April 2022, 07:25:08 PM »
Played my first Fistful of Lead game with my son. His bandits against my North West Mounted Police.

The bandits, led by Mr. Brown, eventually perished, but not before taking out the leader and two constables of the NWMP.

I really like the card driven mechanics and fast play of Fistful of Lead and look forward using them for other periods and settings.

A great setting for a game. Ffol is a terrific set of rules. We use it for pretty much all of our skirmish games. It works for any  genre. :)

You may already know, but there is also the Bigger Battles version if that works for you.  I'm pretty sure it will for me.  I splurged and bought I think 8 FFOL PDFs and have printed most of them.

FFOL works great for Mounties. Just beware of Mad Trapers with dynamite!

Well done!  We like FFoL too.  have used it, and its variants for several periods...in fact, we just did a WW2 game this Wednesday past using their Bigger Battles variant.
