Early Indian Wars in North America ...which plastic minis?

maybe our US wargamers friends could help me..

While in the process of cleaning my cellar and selecting wargame items i came into a bag of the very nice 1:72 30 Years Wars minis from Revell (see some samples picts from PSR)
..i confess that i know practically nothing about 17 century warfare and history neither that period is my cup of tea..but the minis are so nice that i would like to envisage a small project concerning early skirmishes with American/British maybe  also Spanish Militia/ settlers/colonials against local natives (Italeri and Airfix mix)...even if in 17 c. they could be classified as "Colonial battles" which i like  ....
Well could those above mentioned Revel minis (both Imperial and Swedish Infantry plus Imperial Artillery) pass for the militia/armed settlers that fought against indians?...i suppose that armour and pikes were not to be found in America ..maybe artillery not also?

A little early for my interests but there were conflicts in the colonies in the 1600s reasonably contemporaneous with the English Civil War/Thirty Years War so those figures would not be out of place - though maybe wrong to a true purist.  But it's just a game so have at it.  And there very certainly was artillery on the continent during your time in question - though likely confined to forts for the great majority of the time (if not all of the time).

For early wars with indians (like Philip's war) they should be more militia dressed, tohey fought in woods and probably they are too "regular" soldiers. Probably you could reproduce fights in Georgia against Spanish, like Jenkins Ear's war , 1739. Very nice brush work!

Thanks to everybody..thanks Giorgio and P. ..experts not only  in NWF but also in the other big frontier. ..nice images both for Indians with shields and settlers/militia..it seems that my 30YW Revel figures are nt enough appropiate..i should have a look, probably, at slightly different ECW types...if i had been so punctillious at work such as i'm for wargame figures i would have become the PM of my country (not a geat goal by the way)
