I was thinking of making myself a submarine after I'm done with my tramp steamer build, so this is right up my alley!

Also, I keep finding myself on your blog - really enjoying your stuff. I'm planning on doing your river pulp scenario as soon as I finish my steamer and get some deep ones.

I'm part 3d printing, part scratch building it. As a base I'm using this 2005 King Kong Tramp Steamer: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/steam-ship-venture-ii-from-king-kong-peter-jackson

I'm mainly using the hull from that file 3d file, tweaking it to fit my printer better and making my own superstructure and details to make the ship more playable and be able to access different levels more easily. Plan is to make it playable while still making it look a but like diorama-esque model... if a little pulpy and comic booky

Currently designing some more parts to print and plan to drive to a DIY store this weekend to get some supplies so I can continue working on it. Once I make some more progress on it, I plan on posting a topic on here

edit: oh, and I'm doing it in 15mm. I love the pulp selection in 28mm, but I love working on smaller scales more

I like that, not sure if I'd be keen to travel inside it though...
