02 hundred question - how many figures in the set
« on: 27 May 2022, 03:26:34 PM »
Has anyone seen the actual content of the set of 02 hundred ? The web description says it contains

- 30 Multi-part 28mm plastic figures:
12 British SAS
8 German sentries, officers and Feldgendarmes
6 guard dogs
- 64 page Rulebook
- 80 Gaming Cards
- 8 Custom Dice
- 104 Counters

Now, I have never been any good at math, but  12 SAS + 8 German sentries in my part of the world makes 20, not 30 multi-part figures.. And even if you count the dogs as figures - which would be very politically correct but frankly very annoying  -you end up with 26 figures, not 30. Does anyone have any clue?

If its that set:

36 Multi-part 28mm plastic figures:
   12 British SAS
18 German sentries, officers and Feldgendarmes
   6 guard dogs
64 page Rulebook
80 Gaming Cards
8 Custom Dice
104 Counters
36 Plastic Bases

18 german sentries/officers/feldgendarmes?

Listed there - so that with the dogs gets you to the 36?

The images disappoint regards the dogs, as they only show a couple with guards, as you say politically correct but rather disappointing..

Thanks folks, obviously what I saw was plain wrong (I got it from their newsletter) and the obvious number for the German sentries  is 18 and not 8. This still leaves us with the 6 dogs counting as multi-part figures...

As I understand it, the dogs are on the bases with the handlers, so they're probably simply lumping them in with the handler as a "single figure".

Thanks Digits for the video it clearly shows the sentry sprue with 2 dogs on it, and six "sentry" bodies, guess 3 per box, 18 german troops and 6 dogs.

they all have separate integral bases, and they are multipart (two halfs plus head)

so 36 Multi-part 28mm plastic figures, Man and dog.

Anyone have any idea if Wargames Atlantic will be releasing the models separately? I’m thinking WA SAS & Rubicon Jeeps for operation bulbasket…..

This from their FB page:

Luckily, I have quite a few water bottles / bags etc in my bits box as I prefer mine to look a little more kitted out.

Not sure if that’s a Wargames Atlantic thing, but their panzer Lehr are a little lacking in that regard too.

I noted that too.  I reckon it's a matter of there're only X spots on a sprue, and WA likes to provide lots of head and weapon/arm options.  So, more heads/weapons/arms, less personal kit.  That's my guess anyway...

Luckily, I too have spare stuff laying around....

I like the separate gorget pieces though….I have a few feldpolice that I can bolster now.

I have the bundle on order anyway so  hopefully will get my mits on them soon enough.
