18mm 3D Printed Bloodletters

I wanted a 'Khorne' style army for my 15mm Fantasy collection, so I asked the very nice man a Bristol Independent Gamers if he could help and help he did, they are great!!

I think there about 120 of them.....

They are fully painted with Contrast paints and then washed in GW Agrax Eathshade.

It is looking great. What are you going to do with the cardboard bases? To avoid them bending I mean

The cardboard bases are just painting bases they will be put on MDF unit bases 80x40mm, multi based.  I will aim to keep a little bit of cardboard under their hooves just to aid with glueing down.

The cardboard will just give a slightly bigger surface area to glue down

My only worry is always the thin parts in 18mm scale &
I tend / try to thicken parts ( since I print 18mm mostly)  before printing...

Yes I lost the odd sword or arm when painting but mostly managed to glue them back on.

Would love to see what you are printing and painting.

Sometimes you can glue them back sometimes not as parts in 18mm are fiddly.
I either thicken parts before printing or use the resin left over supports to shore parts up.

They are quite nice models.
3d printing does open excellent new hobby venues especially with all the splendid 3d models around ( for e.g. these cultists would be great in 28/32m as they are multipart. Note I stuck the parts together in 3d builder before printing as they are too fiddly to do multipart in 18mm).
They would be make a nice killteam or necromunda gang.

There is something very satisfying when you see a successful print without faults 
BUT be warned 3D printing has a learning curve, ups & downs & you need space.
