American Light Infantry
« on: July 15, 2022, 08:52:28 AM »
Here are some American Light Infantry conversions that I am doing.
I've used Perry Hunting Shirts poses and Perry Continental Firing line poses.

I removed all the heads and drilled into the necks with a pin vise and small bit.
The I replaced the heads with Kings Mountain Minis American Light Infantry heads.

This is the result.

It's been slow going because firing poses are hard to removed heads from cleanly.
The cheek is sometime attached to the stock of the gun which make removal difficult.

Drilling, then filing. The more filing.

I'm making two units of 36.
One in Continental Uniforms and a second in Hunting Shirts.

They look good so far.  Looking forward to seeing them painted!

Very nicely done there and a great looking unit. And I've been wondering about those heads combined with Perry's miniatures.
