It was the Rubicon USMC I was thinking of - I think they have M60's. As to TAG, I like them a lot but, having had some of their individual weapons in the past, they can be quite oversized for most 28mm figures. I was very surprised that the Warlord sprue didn't have a Minimi which is surely the most common SAW out there? Any more ideas how to get single weapons like SAW's? Reaper do modern weapon sets but nothing heavier than an assault rifle I think.

In today's world, 3D printing is probably the best option.

SAW:

But, heroic scale so may be oversized for your purposes.

Yep - the Rubicon USMC box has a couple M60s.  As carlos mentioned, the PAVN box has one lonely RPD.  The ANZAC box, though, is loaded with M60s, for some reason...

As I recall reading somewhere the Aussies were remarkably adept at 'borrowing' or 'trading' for US kit from rear supply areas. If I remember correctly, they started using the M16/M203 gl long before it found it's way into US Army hands! It would not surprise me if they had borrowed a whole load of M60's as well!

I'm back with more modern minis from spectre miniatures

These figures are deliberately unmarked, so they can represent any elite special forces unit: DEVGRU, Polish GROM, British SAS, or others. All are equipped with lightweight tactical gear, advanced NVGs (quad-tube
“four-eyes”), and a serious arsenal:

1 with MP7A1

2 with FN Minimi LMGs

1 with HK416 and Saab NLAW

2 with HK416s (one in heavier armor)

1 with HK416 and XM25 CDTE

1 with Origin-12 shotgun

Just finished painting this crew of 8 modern bank robbers in 28mm scale from Spectre Miniatures . All dressed in red boiler suits with creepy clown masks… well, except two guys who clearly didn’t get the memo and showed up in plain balaclavas instead. 😆
They're armed to the teeth with a mix of weapons — mostly SMGs, a few AR-15s, plus one pump-action shotgun and a grenade launcher.
