So I had this guy sitting right next to my painting station for a while now, undercoated and collecting dust. Decided to give it a go in between my other minis that I'm working on right now.

My main goal was to try out the medieval heraldry decals that I got from kickstarter. So I went with plain blue and then look for something that will match it. I couldn't fit the whole decal on the shield so went with half and painted the other half with the same pattern as the armpit panel.

The mini is from Hundred Years War Perry's kit but might as well be from any other conflict from that time period.

Looks great. Is that decal from the Carthage mud be destroyed kick starter?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Same here - I backed all of his kickstarters but have not really put them to use yet except for this single mini. :)

Finished painting this early 15th-century knight/man-at-arms from Perry Miniatures' plastic kit.
The knight is outfitted in steel plate armor with green livery and a poleaxe, and has a sword sheathed at his side.. The base features a spring meadow theme with white flowers to contrast the darker tones of the armor.

Back to the 2nd half of the 15th century - here are two fknights in the colors of the Holy Roman Empire.
The first one wears the green and yellow striped livery of Von Bernhausen, carrying a banner of the HRE. The second knight represents Graffen von Sulz, dressed in striking red and white.
