Having belatedly discovered the Expanse, while at the same time looking for a solo RPG game, I'm in the throes of blending an Expanse aesthetic with the FPFH rules. In addition I intend to play most actions on printed 0-hr starship plans.

So to start with figures are required for crew and bad guys, and where better to start than with Anvil Industry's Regiments mix and match.

First up a military style crew/OPFOR, with hopefully a Martian light armour vibe

and as always with the Anvil bit, decisions, decisions as to which options to go with
After a Belter style here. and likely to go with option 2 once the last marine is finished

Those look very nice indeed, especially like the colour scheme. Mantic do some vaguely similar chaps I have been wondering how to paint - so this is just the inspiration I need, THANK YOU.

Hope this thread develops further please keep 'em coming.

Looking good.

I like the biohazard helmet for the belters, but as they're pretty non standard, I guess you could use all three.

Looking forwards to the next update.

A bit of an update, and those great people at Warbases have delivered again. I wanted to have a look at their new "game ready" bases and am really pleased. The Industrial Grid (contrast) set provides exactly the aesthetic I was after. - Simple, look great and good value.

I also picked up some tokens to use as stun markers. Very pleased with all, and happy to recommend.

The nearly complete Marine squad on their new bases.

Definite Martian Marine vibe there. Great paint job too.
Must investigate those bases.

Oh damn that is a great idea. Are you going to make (specialist) and none combat folks for the different factions?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

and the first of the Belter types - a mining or salvage crewman. Wanted a non-military look so went for a brighter, more cumbersome look than the Marines.

I'll certainly do a selecting of factions/occupation types, but probably all will be armed given the kind of actions i have in mind, playing out on O-hr spacecraft floorplans

I am certainly feeling that Expanse vibe.  Great TV, great books.  Glad to see your take on the setting.

Great work on these, you definitely get that Expanse vibe from them (and I now must also look into those bases).
