UNMC crew finished ( I don't like the kneeling pose of the 5th figure so will wait until I have a few more body parts before adding him to the mix).

I've changed the visor colour to dark grey and will try my hand at some diy decals for these guys.

In the spirit of all things Expanse I stumbled across a link to a paper model of the Rocinante in case anybody is interested

Nice find.

....and the gang is all here. This will be my initial pool of figures to provide the crew and OPFOR.

Need to chase my printer up to get the floor plans sorted.

That’s a beautiful collection! I haven’t played 5 Parsecs yet, but from the read-through I did, I think you have enough figures to get going. I have to admit, I am slightly envious!

Really loving the hard sci-fi look of all of these figures. Great painting on a fantastic selection of spacesuits!

Cheers all for the kind words.

Postie has just delivered Enderain - a new set of SciFi miniature rules.

As you can see you get more than just a rule book. I currently know nothing about the rules but at £29.99 (a saving of £10 for the month of October) I thought it was worth a splurge given it as it has a built in AI/NPC for solo play.

Now to sit down and read them and see how they compare against 5 Parsecs. If I can I may well blend the best bit from both.

Just got my copy of Enderain today too.

I'm impressed with the production values and what I've read so far - a quick skim only!

Rulebook, 3 QRS's, 2 dice to spawn and place NPCs, a plastic Team Roster to track hits plus experience gained and a pack of cards (that I will sleeve) to control initiative and modify action options (draw 4 per team to start plus one per turn and one when certain cards are played).

Looks closer to Stargrave than 5 Parsecs, on first read, but somewhere between to two for sure.

There are 100 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data.

Production values are terrific and at the discounted price pretty much a steal.  I can see custom tokens are being offered by counterattack bases as well.

Just starting to get my head around the rules and they seem sound. Be interesting to see how they play out.

Amazing project! Absolutely love what you’ve done with Anvil bits. Brilliant and inspiring.  :-*
