German Artillery At Trenton
« on: 04 September 2022, 08:08:46 AM »
The Germans, stationed at Trenton NJ, had two artillery pieces attached to their Regiments.

When the American attack came, the German gunners attempted to duel with the Americans, who had the advantage.
Despite their bravery, they were overwhelmed and captured along with their guns.

The Artillery Commander Henry Knox was impressed with the German guns and had them re-bored to fire american ammunition.

This is the first set of photos.
I have a few group shots to post.

These are group shots of all the pieces.

Snow/Ice bases are tough. I'm pleased with these!

Very nice as always.

And I applaud you for doing the snow and ice bases.

I decided a long time ago that in my gaming world there is Spring, Summer, and Autumn but never Winter!  Although I did do a battle in this campaign once with some wintery terrain but no where near to the level you've put forth.  It was that battle that nixed winter games going forward for me - winter based troops are of no use the rest of the year!  Whereas other type bases can fit into terrain where the season is indicated by trees and bushes, etc., for my three season gaming world.

But your winter basing is really cool.

15's,  I completely understand the need to make things "Seasons Friendly".
And only someone who has to many toys, and too much time on his hands, would do otherwise.

Fortunately for me, I have both!!

The 10 Days the Shook the World is such an important part of the AWI, that it has to be included in any collection.

That sound good right?

In truth, I just wanted to try all the cool snow/ice products that I got for Christmas one year!!
