What I painted in October (2009)
« on: 15 October 2009, 06:29:01 AM »
Well since i found my WoW account has been hacked seems i will have a bit of free time at the moment.
BUT, with that said i dont have anything to post but no one has started an October painted topic and keeps posting to the September 2009 link. So here is the start of the October one and have at it. Eager to see what goodies you masters of the brush have completed. :-)

Can we, the not so master of the brush, post pictures here too?  ;)

Well as long as i dont have to be forced to show my lousy ability i say have at it really.
It was my anal retentive nature that saw a Oct 2009 thread wasn't going to be used. And well, if you now anyone with a "true" anal retentive nature you know such an atrocity cant be allowed to happen.  LOL :-)

Maybe it's because people (like myself) finished things in September but took the photos in October? ::)
Methinks the point of these threads is actually to show what you DID in the respective month as a whole. And we've just reached October 15th, so... ;)

Anyway, back to the painting desk, I say.

Well, despite it only being the Ides of October, I've got some stuff finished this month!

Converted last month, and a few of them are touchups of older paintjobs, but nevertheless, Saurians. With Spears:

Details over on my thread in the main Workshop forum.

This is what I have painted so far this month…

These 4 WSS French Cavalry were done to complete another unit of 12 that I sold…

The following are re-painted 2nd hand Dixon ACW I got in a figures exchange… the horse on the right in the first picture doesn’t have this green hint in real life…

I love the Dixon ACW but I needed to "cheat" a little and base them on thicker bases to make them fit with my other ACW figures...  ;D

It’s only October 16th and I will surely had more figures here. Right now on my painting table I got Dixon WWII and ACW infantry, Front Rank Napoleonic,  Scarab Late WWI French and Eureka’s Afghans… all in various stage of painting.  ::)

Painted very little this month:

A man and his horse (Perry);

And four French marines (Dixon);

I also worked out how to take good photos! Yay!

Nice! I'm painting the same ones using Williamsburg Blue (from Americana):

I also painted a unit of Black Tree Boers:
