Battle of Lake Trasimene - June 217 BC

I thought I would see what it was like to try and put together a scenario based on a military disaster, to see if it could be a game that stretched to all evening.

Ninefingers, very nice. I visited the battlesite a few years ago whilst visiting an Italian Company based on the lakeside. My Italian compatriots were amazed that I knew about Roman history and bemused when I asked them to drive the terrain, which is now marked by the trail with display boards, albeit some are missing or so overgrown you can't see them. I may try the same game but using "To the Strongest".
