Would be interested to know what people think of the GW plastic bullgors? Better than the paintjob suggests, no?
Not Great.  Anyone thinking that the head reminds them of Genestealers?

It's a shame as I agree with folks that it wasn't long ago that the GW beastmen figures were quite good.

Shame they went so bad. I quite adore some of the older GW beastmen-minotaurs. The old Bray Shaman is a wonderful sculpt:

EDIT: Two more of my favourites, the two weapon variations on the older Beastlord sculpt.

I do quite like those old beastlords. I've been casually looking for them on ebay every now and again. Great if you are wanting smaller scale minotaurs too or minotaurs for smaller scales.

Thank you for reminding me about Zealot Miniatures. I had forgotten about them, and they have a nice collection of dungeon scenery that I am interested in!

So much cool stuff in here, guys!  :o I hadn’t known many of those Minotaurs.

My favorites are the one sold with Mythic Battle, the Rackham ones (though these are far from the Greek myth), and finally the very cool one from Bronze Age Miniatures

I used parts of these in my own kitbashed minotaur and as far as I'm concerned, the upper body parts are pretty good. The problem I have with these sculpts are the legs.

Treetrunk shaped, with the most bizarre musculature I've ever seen; it looks like the sculptor just pushed blobs of putty only a dolly and called those muscles. Also; they're humanoid instead of bovine, yet they still have toenails growing into hooves?

No; bad legs! Bad!  :D
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I really like the Dark Alliance 1/72 Minotaurs: https://72-multiverse.blogspot.com/2020/08/minotaurs-easterlings-and-oathbreakers.html

Wow, I wish those were in 28mm!  They look great

Would you (or anyone who has these figures- be willing to snap a shot of those next to a 28mm figure?  They look like they would be very nice 28mm "beastmen" -and would probably even rank up all right on 20mm bases- though I'm not sure about the bulk.

Also, are they soft plastic, and are they stable enough on the sprue that they could be painted en-masse while still on the sprue?  Could be looking at a super-cheap, fast-paintable regiment of Beastmen for Kings of War.

Here you go!

From left to right: Perry knight; Dark Alliance minotaurs; Fireforge/Oathmark knight; DA minotaurs; Frostgrave gnolls; DA minotaurs; Citadel orc. The minotaurs are two to a HOTT 60mm base; the single figures are on 25mm squares.

Yes and yes - but I'd take them off the sprue to paint and clean up (where required - some of mine were flash free).

They're probably better as Longhorns than the smaller beastmen, as you'd struggle to get them onto 20mm/figure frontages. They're smaller than GW Gors but have bigger heads and horns than Ungors. They go two to a 60 x 30mm HOTT warband nicely enough, but three would be a struggle.

They are great figures - and the Anubis-men from Dark Alliance are equally good and about the same size.

And a rear comparison - possibly more helpful, somehow!

They should do just fine as beastmen in 28mm. Could use them on their own or to add variety to an existing herd.

Yes, exactly!

One more - here's how they compare with Citadel broos (the original 25mm-based beastmen). The bases are aligned at the rear; the broos are on 25mm squares after their recent service as longhorns:
