I've watched only the first at now. Good for who has never already seen that kind of stuff. Not for my 50 years books/movies/comics past....

Been pretty good thus far.  Excellent production values, good dialog scripts and the acting isn’t B-list wooden or hammy. Alfred Hitchcock or Rod Serling would have been proud to produce any of the episodes I have seen to date.

 Indeed! Not a new format. Quite Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Twilight Zone but more gore, very well exexuted and everything has that Del Torro flavor.

This is exactly what I meant. It's a very good product but a bit predictable.....

It’s not like the short format allows for much chance at misdirection or surprise for the jaded…you know going into each episode that a fresh take within the genre is always going to be difficult…kinda like scenarios in any game within the genre! At least the vampires don’t glitter with enough cuteness to sop a teenager’s cushion.

Dreams in the Witch House and Pickman's Model are original Lovecraft stories. It think they are my favorites beside Graveyard Rats.

I think it's a decent 7/10 for me. Each episode does look good and it's kind of fun, but nothing surprising, no twists or turns.

Presumably it improves after the first two episodes? They were shite although to be fair I didn't quite quite get the denouement of Ep 2. Ennui followed by sleep intervened. Mercifully.

Quite rigth, they follows the formula of previous similar earlier shows in 1) that they are predictable and 2) quite moralistic. WHat one expect and enjoy is what form of ghoulishness one will be shown.

5/10 for me. Nearly all of them are way too long for the story they're telling. The Lovecraft adaptations were disappointing, but I think Pickman's Model would always be hard to adapt without seeming a bit goofy.
