Yeah Eureka, so can get from Australia, UK or US:

I'm thrilled you said Vampire knights, that's what I originally meant them to be, before deciding on painting chaos/Khorne symbols! I might still do some.

I resisted for so long not to buy some Eureka for the lead pile…. But you did it, I’m weak   lol

I should get a commission...

I've been wondering about using the manorcs as Ogres in 10mm

Half the fun of smaller scales, mix and match. These are on 20mm square if that helps.

What rules are planned?

Runestar D12, indie set on wargamevault. We'll see how it goes, a bit different but looked good from a read through!

For anyone wondering:

https://www.wargamevault.com/m/product/446517

I played out the first turn solo tonight. Quick thoughts, I need a bigger set-up, I have a 3' x 3' folding table for small games, I'd like a second to have 3' x 6'.

I statted up some units based on the army lists, sticking to basic infantry, missile, heavy infantry and light/med cavalry. No leaders, no magic, since I really just want to get my head around combat and morale.

Reading through, everything made sense. Any questions answered by the next page. Morale is more than just keeping track and then suddenly removed from the tabke. Not many counters needed to keep track of anything.

Individual figure removal (which I appreciate is make or break for some people). D12 roll against stats, easy modifiers. Fairly lethal! Generally two ranks fighting/shooting. Movement fairly forgiving, but positioning important.

Nothing really gimmicky or gamey. Rules are interesting... nothing that screams amazingly innovative or out there, but not always the usual "roll D6, hit on 4+" flavourless if that makes sense. Beware, "ranks" are multiples of the minimum unit size, not rows in a unit, so whfb players might have to read it again!

Magic sounds lots of fun. Cards drawn, you create spells with a beginning and end, adding cards in the middle. Some real "meaningful decisions" it sounds like. You need to print a set for each caster. Something I usually hate, but I'm willing to try it.

The units I used were a bit small. Once they hit below minimum size (infantry 5ea, cavalry 4e for example) they become lose formation. I'll bump them up and play again!

Sounds interesting. I think I put it on my list. (Got a small rule collection addiction)

So 20+ minis or even more per unit?

20 for infantry, 12 for cavalry sound about right, but you can go up and down.

Some little palisades made from balsa wood dowel and some scraps. I'll use them for 10 and 15mm, but they might be useful for adding to 28mm terrain as well.
