Seems to be one of the currentl-being-released Votann, i.e. Neo-Squats, from Games Workshop, but I struggle these days to keep the troop types apart.

See the product range so far here:

https://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/searchResults?N=3562378816+300605625&No=0&Nr=AND(sku.siteId%3ADE_gw%2Cproduct.locale%3Ade_DE_gw)&Nrpp=12&Nrs=collection()%2Frecord[product.startDate+%3C%3D+1667712720000+and+product.endDate+%3E%3D+1667712720000]

The similarities to the Starcraft aesthetics are there. Being space dwarves, they might need some modifying to work as proper Terran Marines, but I'd agree there's potential.

That is indeed one of the new GW votann or space dwarves.

Incidentally I have just painted a squad of stargrunts which I found on thingyverse (I think ) & printed in 18mm scale.

I will post soon.

Thanks Chris. Much appreciated. I had a feeling these might be GW.

Z, looking forward to your printed grunts. I have a feeling I know which ones you mean.

FWIW, there's a "squat" variety of humans in the Starcraft universe too. Unsurprising given how much is cribbed from Warcraft, which was in turn cribbed from WHFB.

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

When you mentioned dwarves/squats I was thinking "I'm out" but those helmeted heads might work with Terminator armor/torsos for a modified Terran grunt look.

I must stress I haven't seen them in the flesh, but you could combine the torso, arms and head with some taller legs, if you could find suitable ones, or use the old "truescaling" method of inserting some plastic slices at strategic joints to beef them up.

That said, given GWs scale creep over the years, the figures might even be tall enough to work next to other suppliers' ranges.  lol
