yep

looks good, as expected

would be curious about the measurements?
are these to be found somewehere?

Thanks! Somewhere the length was stated with 5,64m... makes a perfect 10cm in 28mm ;) Rest of the dimensions are estimated by the pictures.

I smashed that prototype in anger and built another one ;) If that doesn't come out good, I'll spent the rest of the week painting some lead.

I think that without the turret it would make a great Batmobile  :D

I think if i smashed one up i would give it up as a bad job!

Actually I thought about the Batmobile idea too. It would need bigger wheels and some fenders. I'll try to convert one (if the original version is finished some day)  lol

@tobi, why did You smash the prototype?

The proportions were wrong, it would have taken more time to fix them, than to build a new hull. I reused some of the parts, but built up most of the body again. I'll post some pictures tonight (if little Paul allows to)  ;)

Keith  :?

Hello... I use 2 different types of sheet for curved shapes, 0.5mm and 1mm. Bending the thin sheet is easy, you just have to be careful not to produce kinks. I usually build a skeleton first and bend the sheet around it, like here:

Then I put a second layer of 0.5mm on top, which is usually smoother than the first one and stabilzes it.

Bending 1mm can work nicely on some shapes when you CAREFULLY heat the sheet under a lamp or use a hairdryer. (Lighters don't work, they are to hot on a too small area)
With 1mm I always use superglue to keep it in position quickly, the thinner sheet can be fixed with normal plastic glue.

...this is the new rough version of the Romfell.

Camera still broken hab to use the phone...

Tobi
