Clear hackery lol

Beautiful work, my friend. Your sculpting -almost- equals the sensuous and brilliant lines of this Hungarian original ;)

Seriously, dude, awesome. Keep it up.

Yes, indeed, I agree with former user. Share your problems. Maybe we can help?

Thanks ;) It's not so much the shape but the details. There are not really many of them besides the rivets, and these few look different on every photo I found... the front grill for example or the housing of the wheels in the back. I think I'll mix them up in the next session and start riveting. Nothing makes a naked scratchbuilt vehicle pop like rivets  lol

reasses Your sources

remember, some of the pictures might show simply wooden design prototypes and there was much retouching done at that time, or the vehicle was simply changed due to field experience

also, not many were built, so simply go with Your feeling and improve it
as long as it looks realistic it should be fine

I've seen many vehicles that just repeat the basic appearance, but go rampage on the details

so trust Your experience and improvise, it can't go wrong

Tobi -

Remember, only two or three Romfells were actually completed in time to see service. Something like thirty were in various stages of completion at the end of the war. They were built in Hungary, which did not have a particularly large industrial base at the time, and from everything I've read, they were each hand built, by craftsmen...

In other words, though they were pretty high quality vehicles, each was probably a little different in appearance, details, etc. Of the two or three that saw service,I'd wager every one was a bit different. Find a grill you like, and go with that one - same with other details. Really, don't sweat the small stuff - do what you think looks best. If one rivet is off, then well, that picky person can just add a rivet himself;)

I think those of us who actually want these things will simply be pleased that we'll finally HAVE one, rather than being worried about the grill not being identical to the photo of the one of three we happen to have access to!
