The Guards
« on: 23 March 2023, 05:00:31 PM »
These are my 1 ST and 2 ND Battalion of Guards .

I used one 6 figure stand for each Company that contributed to the Battalion

The first 3 photos are the both Battalions, while the rest of the pictures are of each Battalion.

Nice.  And it looks like you opted for cut down hats into roundabouts (I think that is what they were called).

15's  These are the Perry Guards sculpts. They are not in Roundabouts, but regulation uniform coats.

The British are annoying in that they continually formed "Light Infantry" and "Grenadier" Battalions
for different theaters. The "Guards" also. No regard at all for us hobbyists!!

All different facings and no flags. Annoying!!

I think you mean "round hats" which were actually like short top hats.
"roundabouts" are short blouson style jackets  with no skirts- they are literally cut "roundabout" the waist. It is a unique American term I believe.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Well, you learn something new every day, thanks James.
