Thanks guys. I think I spent more time on that one shoulder pad than I did the entire rest of the mini!

First one for June. The 1989 Mark Copplestone Captain:

I'm particularly happy with the little freehand skull on his leg - unlike the upside down Omega symbols which never quite come off how I want them to, that one actually came out how I saw it in my head.

Another excellent one!

I especially like his molten powersword; very lifelike  8)

That sword is magnificent!  :-*

I am starting to worry about how many of these genetic supermen have chronic hip dysplasia, mind...

Cheers! I do quite like the visual effect of it but I can't get out of my head the image of it hitting another close combat weapon and bending around it like a damp noodle due to it being molten... I think the effect worked better than the Lieutenant's power sword from a month or two ago - I find these three-facet power swords are a bit of a challenge to do but I think I'm happiest with this approach.

And back problems! Good lord they're all stooped. Thanks!

I had a go at Brother Repp tonight:

No decals again, still practicing the freehand!

Thanks guys! I'm hoping to have one of the original dreads done by next month sometime - I had a go at one last year but just couldn't pull it off in a way I was happy with, here's hoping it goes better this time!
