Another vote for Fistful of Lead: Big Battles

And yet another vote for FoL:BB.

There's Blood and Steel by Firelock games......

But, I just picked up a copy of that.  My first flip-through looks promising.  It looks like it too would work for the Plains Indian Wars.

I bought the Pony Wars rework and I originally built my MASSIVE old west collection based on those rules but I'd question how well they would actually play today.  I never had the courage to try (though lack of paint of figures was a greater barrier!).

I wish they had done some serious rework of the rules rather than just fixing typos.  The potential is there to make them much better and more playable rules but the basic charts seem a nightmare to use.  Of course, I like things simple so maybe its just me.

Fistful of Lead: Bigger Battles, and more, can be found here: https://wiley-games.myshopify.com

They do sell PDF versions if that works out better for you.

If you get them, let us know what you think.

And, if you like, you can also get playing cards with sixty cards plus four jokers, adding Princess and Duke face cards for all suits.

Thanks. Is FFoL BB stand alone or do you need the Core rules set as well?

Don't know if UK stockiest but I doubt it.  The owner is here on LAF.

Since it would be book - thin - probably not overly expensive to mail to UK.

All FFoL products are also on WargameVault. Thus, if you have access to a printer or don’t mind reading them on a tablet, the (very good) rules are just a click away!
Caveat: you’ll need a normal poker deck to play.

This was the best place to glean stuff, showing all out of stock now, though?

CALIVER BOOKS  now stock the FFOL rules in the UK.

FFOL Reloaded 2 is being released soon. It has been updated to match the mechanics in the rest of the Wiley Games systems. He has a Sale on it at his website currently.

Just recently bought the Osprey set called, "The Men Who Would Be Kings"...which has western army lists for Apaches and Plains Indians...worth the look.
