"Dog Day Afternoon" - our 3rd post-apoc game
« on: May 11, 2023, 01:52:57 AM »

My Green Dragons take cover in my urban ruins, watching the approach of rival scavengers

We played our third post-apoc scenario using Fistful of Lead Core Rules this weekend. The game went really well and all six players seemed to have a good time. It was a rough outing for my Green Dragons gang of survivors. The only group that suffered worse casualties were the feral dogs who were activated when players scavenged at one of the places they could find medical equipment or food. I think every shot at a dog resulted in an "Out of Action," and the poor pooches lost every melee despite having the odds in their favor.

One of the many poor Feral Dogs who were knocked out of action by the players

Read all about it on my Lead Legionaries blog -- lots more pictures and a blow-by-blow battle report here: http://leadlegionaries.blogspot.com/2023/05/dog-day-afternoon-3rd-post-apocalyptic.html

Thanks in advance for reading!

Great game, Mike.  Sounds like it was a blast - sometimes literally!

The table, and game, looks great!
Those red robed Blood Brotherhood remind me of the robed dudes in the old Sierra pc game Manhunter: New York. Awesome

Thanks, everyone! I'm brainstorming the next scenario and what I want to run. I have some Quonset huts, so maybe exploring a seemingly abandoned military base? Or scavenging a recently-downed Destroyer Bot, to take off useful technology and weapons?

Hmmm... o_o

That is very cool, I love it. There is so much theme there.

I do like the scavenging downed killbot tech idea.
