Murawski Miniatures - are they still around? - UPDATE
« on: May 31, 2023, 11:16:50 AM »
Does anyone know if there are any problems at Murawski Miniatures?

I placed a small order in the middle of May and have not received any communication to acknowledge the order. The website says it is still being processed.

I know they are a small one man band, but would have expected some form of communication by now. I have sent an email and a Facebook message, but no response as of yet.

Are they usually slow to process orders?

That miniatures line was sold off to Brigade Games in the USA.  Try: https://www.brigadegames.com/ .

Thanks for the information, I might contact them and ask what is going on. The Facebook pages suggests there is still activity in the UK.

Emperor Toads Emporium keep them, not sure if it's the whole range but they do Polish and Baden infantry. :)

I placed an order last year but was very disappointed. First no communication and then only excuses. When the order finally arrived it was all shambles. I complained but received no response. I will never order from them again.

Thanks guys, it doesn't sound promising.

I did some digging around last night and it seems Emperor Toad and Murawski are one and the same. According to his Facebook page, Murawski Miniatures are being cast by Skytrex now, but on a contract basis I think. His range of French Revolutionary Wars figures has been sold off to Skytrex very recently, so maybe Murawski Miniatures will go the same way.

Its a shame, they are very nice figures, and just what I need to complete a small project.

FYI I can confirm that Murawski Miniatures are still operating.

I managed to contact them via Emperor Toads Emporium on Ebay - thanks Jambo1 for that info.

I received a very quick response and an apology. Apparently Matt, the chap running it, has family health issues to deal with that consume most of his time.

Also, Brigade Games in the USA sell the figures under license, so they have not actually bought the range themselves.

Hopefully I'll see my order turning up shortly.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and comments.

Yes, Skytrex are excellent; I had dealings with them a couple of years ago and they get top marks from me.

I placed on order with Skytrex on Feb 8, arrived Feb 17 in the US. Great service. I'm tempted to place an order with Brigade Games, just to see if they can fill it now that Skytrex owns the Murawski line.
