The Czar and family
« on: November 05, 2009, 02:47:07 PM »
Straight off the paint table, West Wind's Czar Nicholas and family:

No particular reason for having bought them, otherwise that they're great figures. The paint scheme, incidentally, has been shamelessly stolen from the Prof's Back of Beyond Times...

Nice. They are the WestWind figures?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://www.kingdomtitans.ca/us/

Indeed they very nice!

The paint scheme, incidentally, has been shamelessly stolen from the Prof's Back of Beyond Times...

That is why I thought I knew them!

Anyhow the painting is very nice!

at least the female with hawk might fit the lot

Surely you don't need one for Anastasia - everyone knows she legged it before Ekaterinberg, only to turn up several years later in the West! Mind you, there's a Pulp scenario for you right there...

only if You have a Yul Brynner figure too  ;)
besides, Anastasia is part of the group, since she was the youngest daughter, so I couldn't have meant her...

anyway, still a few daughters short, and one might want to play a scenario before Yekaterinburg?
yep, thought about the lady with the hawk too, though a bit of simple garment

I read the assassins had to fire at the wounded again, because the initial bullets did not penetrate the clothes stiched with jewelry.... (in Yekaterinburg)
