Hey

I am currently down or is it upgrading from 28mm to 15-20mm for this period with a view to playing Lion Rampant.

It is your end of late Rome Romano British through to Sutton Hoo type Staffordshire Horde type era i love.

At the moment Forged In Fire are top candidates in 15mm, but apparently this is really 18mm? This is where Wigaluf come in potentally to supplement them, both these ranges look fantastic certainly on the websites.

Was also wondering if anybody has used Newline 20mm ancients stuff with them and how they size up, though i think the above two ranges should cater for my needs.

Splintered Light has some interesting looking Romano-Britons and Saxons in 15mm, but I would not mix them with anything bigger.

Hope it helps!

Hello Mr the Fish. Forged in Battle probably has everything you could possibly want for this era. The Wiglaf chaps are a bit taller/more robust, but are absolutely gorgeous minis. I wouldn't mix the two on the same unit necessarily, but would happily mix them in the same army. I posted some piccies of the two lines next to each other earlier this year https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=139863.0
