Account of the Battle of PER HORUS AND PER RA
(NEW KADESH 2023 own rules in 1834 Pts)
This day of August 5 was announced to be radiant when, after several years of building up his army, the lord of an obscure Hittite province, General PATH LE TERRIBLE, attempted an incursion into our beautiful province of PER HORUS ET PER RÂ.
The bulk of his forces, supported by several subordinate generals attack from the North while our Egyptian divisions commanded, on our left flank by MOSES and in the center by RAMSES THE GREAT, Son of Râ, Mighty Bull of Horus, Light of the Nile, Powerful among the Powerful….
Our brave people rely on the small village of RÂBI JACOBB, which would have seen the birth of General MOSES "MOÏSE" for the natives....
A unit of Marines holds the village,
A unit of light shooters stands in front of the MOSES cart ready to swoop down on the unwary who try to approach the sector.
In the center of our device, below the plateau where the shock infantry is positioned, two large units of archers in close order.
On our right wing, a second unit of light archers precedes a unit of light tanks ready to counter a possible flanking attack.
Because the scouts of our illustrious adversary are more numerous and have succeeded in recognizing the essential of our device (except our two units of Guard and Sardanes hitherto hidden behind the plateau, awaiting the orders of our Pharaoh, Son of Râ, Powerful Bull of Horus etc…etc…
).
The first three phases of the battle see the Hittite army spread out over the entire surface of the battlefield in a line worthy of the Asian hordes…but for the most part…ON FOOT!
Foreseeing, the Hittite General PATH LE TERRIBLE, installs Princess BIG BOOBS
on the roof of a hut to observe the scene and witness an almost certain victory...
(Some will say that he reserves this princess for a less glorious fate.
She would be the tribe, the pledge, the trophy, if in case of defeat, a future peace treaty had to be ratified with the Pharaoh of an Egyptian woman armed until then undefeated …)!!
The Hittite heavy tank units are advancing slowly (some would say painfully…) in the fields and already seem unable to achieve their objectives….

It was without counting on the precision of our shots which put down a third of the unit until then out of reach...
It was at this time, the fourth phase of the battle, that two units of Hittite light tanks, commanded by General SHARP TURN, appeared on our left flank with the blatant intention of bypassing the village and taking our army from the rear, which had hitherto been commanded by RAMSES. in person, Son of Râ, Mighty Bull of Horus etc…etc…
It was without counting on our Egyptian organization which had already anticipated this tactic (some would say this perfidious Hittite…) and which, on a few signals launched the previous phase and regular maneuvers quickly executed.
Our Royal Guard, Charrerie directly commanded by our GREAT PHARAOH, Son of Ra, Light of the Nile etc…etc…
followed by his foot guard then by the Sardanes move quickly in the direction of this lateral attack.
Our units of spearmen are positioned on either side of the central plateau while the archers retreat while continuing their heavy fire on an unfortunate unit of opposing Javeliniers who leave half of their workforce there...
At nightfall, the Hittite realizing that he will not achieve his ends, decides to quickly withdraw his troops with the firm intention of trying his luck again...one day...probably...
RAMSES THE GREAT, satisfied with this skirmish, who would nevertheless have preferred to continue the meeting to definitively impose his supremacy on the Hittite Empire, will accept the consolation prize in petticoats that his illustrious adversary will surely abandon to him….
History will soon tell us what will become of his Hittite troops if they attempt a new incursion into Egyptian land brilliantly led by the seductive and yet magnanimous Pharaoh RAMSES THE GREAT, Son of Ra, Light of the Nile, Mighty among the mighty etc. …etc…
