Chibi

What i would like to play is a miniature game, skirmish style, solo with chibi style miniatures with cute/chibi style terrain. So are there fantasy games that could be used ? Of course finding the miniatures is another issue. I love the clanker miniatures from Flytrap, but can’t get hold on them. I have the impression that the companies think that everyone has a 3D printer? Also finding a compary who prints them in the Eurozone!

Amazon has some, but a lot of the faces are blurred and pixelated, including baby Yoda

Impact! miniatures do a chibi range. As to the game - well, any game would work really. Sellswords and spellslingers might work best since it's a solo/co-op skirmish game.

Those names sound about right. Amazon does have a new figures under that name, but, yeah, the game itself looks very expensive

I have a raft of the Soda Pop Ninja All Stars miniatures, most acquired for a couple of quid a time from EBay and from a company called Steve's Collectables (https://www.stevescollectables.co.uk). I believe the latter also have both an EBay and an Amazon presence.

You can still get some of the ninja clan packs.

My son and I have had some fun games with them using One Page Rules and I have played solo games with them using those rules too.

Buying from Soda Pop direct (https://ninjadivision.co.uk/) is considerably more expensive but gives access to the full range.

I would also give honourable mention to Soda Pop's GUTS WW2 chibi soldiers.

Any rules will work fine.  I'm partial to The Fantasy Trip or Savage Worlds.  BOth work well for solo play.  The Fantasy Trip has a number of little solo modules.

Sarrisa has a small range of buildings for Burrows & Badgers that work well for chibi settings.  There's a number of ranges of 3D print high fantasy buildings, while not cute chibi per se do work well because they are overwrought.  I've found some good stuff from the aquarium decorations.

Impact Miniatures has the best and broadest range of chibi miniatures.  Yeah, the Soda Pop/Ninja Division are pricey but I do love their minis (they did a weird double-branding thing some years ago, and I never could really parse their explanations of the distinctions and why they thought it was a good idea, probably a corporate accounting thing that made sense to them as they have long struggled through financial difficulties).

There's a bunch of smaller companies steadily turning out figures.  I'm pretty sure there are some Eurozone ones out there.  The best way to keep track of them is via the Chibi Gamers group on Facebook:

A couple of years back, I bought several sets of chibby figures from Tehnolog's Soul Dark range. I bought sets of mouselings, knights, skeletons, and orks if I recall correctly. They're all unique miniatures (Although not unique sculpts; half of them are mirrored from the other half. Pretty clever actually) and come 10 to a pack.



However; I just tried to  access their website(s) and at work they're all blocked because of threats and my phone will just plainly refuse to open them. Must be the whole Ukraine thing...


I can give a very hard second on the Super Dungeon Explore suggestion though! I used to own the box and the minis are just great. I saw the demo game table built for the game and it was then that I knew I had to own it. There are many, many expansions, all themed differently (orks, vampires, ratmen, etc) and each is cuter than the last. I wanted to build a table to match the look, but never got around to it. The box gathered dust after only a few plays, so I ended up selling it off.



But those aesthetics... 


Then there is Arcadia Quest. Pretty much the same as SDE, but probably quite a different gameplay. I can't comment on it, as I don't have any experience with it. But the look is very similar to SDE:

A great source of pre-painted minis is to go to your favourite anime toy store and search for "swinger".  These are ~1" tall figures on keychains.  Unscrew the eye post from the top of the head and plug the hole with putty.
 
I found a bunch of these at Anime Boston.  Dragonball Z and many other anime ones work great.  There's one from the anime Rozen Maiden in the photo down below with the Pokeverm.
