As a player who enjoys making the bits and bobs needed for Frostgrave scenarios but who sometimes lacks inspiration, I would like a resource (book, webpage whatever) that showcases all the different interpretations of the various Frostgrave items that have made it to gaming tables across the world. They wouldn't all have to be up the high standard of snitcythedog's pieces, it would just be interesting to see what other people have used. I might then take elements of my favourite concepts or executions to incorporate into my own unique effort. Or perhaps if someone comes up with a very simple construction or proxy for an item I might copy that when time is short. I am sure there are loads of cool Bone Wheels out there, and Sky Docks, Silent Towers, underground libraries, Arcane Discs etc.
I gave that a shot, in the old thread and the new one I recently created:
https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=142647.0 but it doesn't seem many people are interested in sharing their work there as a sort of repository. I am probably going to delete it, as it takes quite a lot of work to maintain and it doesn't seem like people really need it.
It also doesn't seem many people actually share their work. If you google Frostgrave Scenery, my old thread pops up way too high. There's just not that many people sharing their work ,at least not in a Googleable way. Maybe it's become Instagram and TikTok or something, I don't know.
This part of the web seems pretty quiet as well. It was way busier a few years back, and it pains me to see it so quiet. But that's the way the internet is, I suppose. Forums are no longer the preferred way of communication. Honestly though, taking pictures felt easier to me as well, I hardly have time to edit them into postable content the way I did way back when.
Ah well, luckily we still have heroes like Snitcy, Bearwoodsman and the others who still post. I will post something soon too, I promise.
