I apologize if this has been brought up before.  I just finished watching the new film Bone Tomahawk on Amazon Prime (free for Prime members).

Absolutely fantastic.

A slightly absurdist dark Old West film w/ surprising elements of several genres.  Wonderfully written and superbly acted.  Only warning: it is incredibly brutal in parts.  Highly recommended.  Huge surprise and very pleased.  The trailer doesn't do it much justice.



I really really recommend checking it out if possible.

Loved it! There are not nearly enough Western/Horror mash-ups. The writer/director S. Craig Zahler has also written several Western novels that are excellent & well worth your time to read.

I thought this was a great and well acted film also.  I love Kurt Russel in westerns!

I thought it was absolute garbage. We have a saying round our way...

There's no such thing as a bad Western... just some that's better than others!

'Bone Tomahawk' came close to being the exception that proves the rule!
