I liked them so much I got two sets
And two packs of cards.
I have had the foundry figures painted for years, so I just need to make the jungle and grass lands
Any ideas or help on this would be great?
I will do a game and how it plays
Cheers

For some almost-instant terrain, get some aquarium plastic grass mats of various kinds and chop them up in smaller patches

http://argonor-wargames.blogspot.dk/search/label/Jungle

Some aquarium deco plants can be put to good use as canopies for trees made of twigs from the garden/forest - I have plans to make some this fall/winter, as I also hear the call of the wild.

If you can live with a more 'pulpy' kind of jungle, cake decoration plastic palm trees can be found really cheap in fairly large quantities.

I used some for some desert-terrain as seen here (the ones on the cd-bases):

Unfortunately I don't have my copy of Congo yet, but can anybody give me some information about base sizes of the captains/ leaders/ kings? On the promo pictures it looks like their bases are slightly bigger than usual, maybe 30mm?

Thank you!  :)

The only base size mentioned in the book is 25mm round. Unfortunately I rebased my Belgians from 20mm square to 20mm round; from pictures I saw a few months back I thought that was the size :'(

Isn't it a problem when your opponent uses different sizes for the basing? As a understand a unit must be kept in base contact so width can be different.

edit: I like the look of Foundry DA figures on a small base :D

Received my copy from Lon at brigade games in the United States yesterday.  Wow! The production values of the book are the best I've seen from a non-GW game book in a long time.  Rules look very interesting although I haven't completely read them yet. One thing that's sweet is that your "column" is really composed like a tapas buffet: you get lots of choices of "small plates" of figures, like 3 of these guys and 5 of these guys, etc.  very cool actually because you got a nice diversity of figures without having to paint huge units.

Sweet, that's where I ordered from. I think my card just got billed yesterday though. :(

Agree with the posts about the rules production values.  Beautifully done.  Most importantly, they look like fun.  Given the amount I have spent on figures I really think they are good value.

It's a bit of a change from ordering tanks, guns and aeroplanes....baboons, .....really!
