Grey Aliens - Home away team
« on: September 14, 2023, 01:19:15 PM »
And yet another post .
These are grey aliens , also found for free on the Internet.
Scientists & warriors.
Spindly but have great detail.
The leader's googles are kitbashed.

I think printing smaller than this would make them too fragile. These were printed with a 50/50 mix of Elegoo water washable and their ABS 2 like resins. It does make a difference & models are more durable.

All settings left as is BUT I found that medium supports are have much better success rate than thin ones.

Cool. I'm getting serious Skeletor vibes from them lol.
Does them mix of water washable and the other still make them water washable? I'm thinking of getting a resin printer sometime soon (long overdue)

OMG, those on the top photo look amazing!  How tall are they? About 20mm, or thereabouts?

Thanks both,
B, I had to change to IPA. The good thing is that prints dry faster ( with WW have to be left overnight or air sprayed). Still experimenting  ;)

D, around 25mm. Can be used for 18, 20, 25 & 32mm scale.
