As the title  says , I'm looking for a colour  that's for Russia  preferable  Vallejo. Any help would  be appreciated.

A friend, many years ago, painted his 15mm Italians (for use in Russia)
an Olive Drab & dry brushed them with a 'dust' colour, which in 15mm
dealt with all the 'detail' such as webbing.
Sorry, but no idea which brand/shade of paint, & he has since passed on.

With Vallejo suggestions.

Interestingly, the initial contingent may have worn an undress / work uniform that was more grey in colour during the summer of 1941.

If you google Italian WW2 uniforms and look at images you should find some which have a Ukraine logo which I think may represent Eastern Front re-enactors.

Osprey men of war series did Italian uniform Europe 1940/45. Not sure if it’s still available.

The italian grigioverde uniform had a distinguishable blueish tint that finds no equivalent in any paint range, to my knowledge: the suggested Olive Grey is clearly too green to be accurate, IMHO. The only acceptable solution I found is adding to VMC German Fieldgrey a bit of VMC Luftwaffe Field Blue or a similar bluegrey tone

Sadly, most of the Ospreys look to be out-of-print. Amazon list volume 3 but even their own website seemingly has none available.
