Painted: Converted Rose for Doctor Who Miniatures Game
« on: November 10, 2009, 08:41:18 PM »
The first mini for the Salute 2010 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Daleks' game - one of the two participation games we'll be running. An HF Sadie conversion of 'Rose' by Mark Dixon.

He's kindly agreed to a base swap without killing me, but she's basically done.

If I recall correctly from mine, the crossbow is cast on.  That is some very nice conversion work on the back.

Very nice, lovely soft looking colours.

I'm still hoping for a not-Rose from Hersey as my sculpting skill hasn't emerged yet.

then that is indeed quite smoothly done and more effort than I could have been bothered with  :D

 :-* :-* :-* :-*

Always held a torch for Rose! Your miniatures does her justice, Uti.

Did you find it hard to remove the crossbow and dagger?

It's a conversion by Mark Dixon for me\DWMG.

The man's a pro, so probably presented few problems - and he's done a cracking job IMHO :)

Mark Dixon's stuff is always a joy, and the Who stuff on his website is a great inspiration. This is going to be a great looking game at Salute - can't wait!

Absolutely spot-on!

I'm not a fan of Rose, but I need one to go with my 9th Doc (Heresy version), so I might have to try this conversion myself.
