Perry Wars of The Roses box 1
« on: 10 November 2009, 08:55:28 PM »
Available to pre-order for December delivery...

http://theminiaturespage.com/news/842495/

I'm not naturally disposed to plastic figures, and I find a lot of the Perrys recent output a bit on the titchy side for my tastes. But...

These look so damned evocative of the period, I fear I might have to buy a box and paint a few just to see if they're as good (and as versatile) as they look...

Bizaar is it not, but I agree with all that. Nice toys are nice toys and we all must have the nice toys.

They really are amazing sculpts, and the number you get for the price is almost unbelievable.

I don't see why anyone would want to buy the EEs Empire Statetroopers, or Bretonian Pesants ever again.

Phil, you said that plastic has no heft in the hand.  Stick to your principles, or have you already visited the loft and started a list?  lol

Good price. Chianmail comes out a little too off-scale in plastic but i don't care.
WotR is, what?, mid 15th century? A bit late for the small collection I've started.
