Great War Miniatures Crimean range confirmed
« on: November 11, 2009, 06:39:42 PM »
Sorry if I'm a bit late with this news, but just saw it myself...

http://theminiaturespage.com/news/567685/

Gosh - what a week... New Indian Mutiny range seen at last from Mutineer. Perrys' new Wars of The Roses plastics. And now this!

There are people out there determined to part me from my money!

(By the way, do we really think thoseare Crimean sandbags behind this figure from GWM?  ;) lol)

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

I saw this on PMT and have to say 'Nooooo!'

Lovely figures and a period that I'm gaining more interest in but I've got enough on my plate  ::)  lol

As long as they do a 'Flashman' type, parping his way along on a charger then I'm in  ;)

Saying that, I suppose you could use GASLIGHT Battles at a pinch for smaller actions?

cheers

James

It seems they listened to me instead, because the above is exactly what they did. Bit of a result, from my point of view (I already have a 15mm Crimean collection, no plans to do all that again but bigger).

Now if I were you this would drive me mad as Great War are rather chunky fellows, the sculpts are generally very nice but would dwarf your Foundry chaps :?

You’ll need two arms to paint the figures… you’re better to sell a kidney ;)
